My credo in life is that our lives reflect our beliefs. I also believe that we are powerful creative
beings and our conviction and deep emotion create reality. I had an interesting example of that this
morning.
First, I did not sleep well (again!) and was not in a great
mood (this is also not unusual as I am not a morning person). In fact, I was in a terrible mood and running
behind schedule. As I was getting fruit
out of the fridge this morning, I was saying to my husband that I really wanted
and needed to clean the refrigerator and
I was planning to do so this coming weekend.
I closed the door and heard something topple. We opened the door to iced tea everywhere
including the vegetable and meat drawers.
So, exactly as I deeply wanted, I got a chance to clean the
refrigerator, just not on my timeline. Instead of this weekend, I got to clean the
refrigerator this morning – before coffee, before breakfast, really before
waking up. Perfect example of thought
and manifestation. I realized that the
condition of the fridge was bothering me or I wouldn't have been thinking and
talking about how much I wanted to clean it each time I opened it. I got what I wanted and I actually laughed
about it later in the day.
I see this in my life all the time. I say something like I haven't heard from so
and so and open my email to see a note from them. Or I spend some time thinking about something
I want to do and an opportunity to do it comes up. It is a very giving universe if I just
remember to get out of the way and trust.
I love how you connect trusting that what is in front of me is my perfect experience as opposed to judging it one way or the other. That helps me do the footwork, stay peaceful and focus on things like gratitude, my individuated skills that I am here to being to the table.
